Your First Meeting

Meetings run for about 90 minutes and include a meal, fellowship time, guest speakers, and club business. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and fun.
As a member, you'll have the opportunity to participate in community projects, social events, and fundraisers throughout the year. The level of commitment is flexible, so contribute what you can, when you can.

Before You Ask
How much time does it take?
We meet every Tuesday at the Gladstone Bowls Club, 6:00pm for a 6:15pm start, usually wrapping up around 8:00pm. Beyond the weekly meeting, involvement is genuinely flexible: help at the events you can, sit out the ones you can't.
Do I have to come every week?
No. Life happens, and members simply send an apology for the weeks they can't make it. Regular involvement is what matters, not perfect attendance.
What does membership cost?
There are annual membership dues, and you pay for your own dinner each week you attend. Get in touch and our Treasurer will give you the current figures before you commit to anything.
Who can join?
Anyone of good character who wants to serve the Gladstone community, of any age, background, trade or profession. You don't need to be invited and you don't need to know a member.
